Milo Warshaw
Milo has long been motivated by a deep frustration with societal inequalities and a concern for the climate and biodiversity crisis - and believes that finance, storytelling, and education all have a part to play in building a just future within the planetary boundaries.
Milo's studies deepened his belief in the need for systemic change, especially in how we care for community and young people. He holds an MSc in Environment, Politics and Society from UCL, where he focused on youth climate activism, and a BA in Human Geography from Durham University, where he researched the experiences of young adults with bipolar disorders.
Most recently, he worked at ShareAction, a responsible investment charity, where he led research and engagement with some of the world's largest insurers and asset managers, pushing for stronger climate and social policies. Before that, he was part of the team at Kite Insights, building The Climate School. There, he designed and delivered learning programmes and thought leadership for clients including Chanel, Patagonia, and Standard Chartered. He also co-founded EmpoweringEU through the B Team's Energy Earthshot - a startup bringing citizens into Europe's energy transition.
Alongside his work, Milo is committed to supporting young people to thrive. He has mentored children through The Kids Network, and currently volunteers with Climate Ed, delivering free climate science workshops to primary school students to help them understand their power and potential in a rapidly changing world.
Milo is joining On Purpose to grow as a leader in the impact space, learn how to scale purpose-driven organisations, and join a community of purpose-driven individuals and organisations.
Outside of work, he loves slow travel, nature walks, and discovering new theatre and film. Once upon a time, he starred in a leading role for the National Youth Music Theatre. He finds joy in family time, laughter, and deep conversations.
